When you decide to work with me, I become your advocate, facilitator, guide and advisor. As your advisor and facilitator, I help you get in touch with your inspiration, your agency and a sense of possibility. I help you define and accomplish your goals and live according to your values and your soul’s calling. I do it with empathy, kindness, and compassion.
My work consists of kindly offering insight and guidance to help you overcome obstacles to your goals, or fight the “monsters” in your life. I will support your journey by offering support based on my extensive experience and top-notch training. (see more below under “How I Work”)
I have more than 20 years helping more than 2000 individuals get better at “being themselves,” and make the changes they need to live the way they are called to live. I am very good at what I do.
When you work with me, I try to follow your values, but it is important that you are informed about mine, in case you do not feel we are compatible. My practice and philosophy are based on the practice of compassion towards all living beings, reducing suffering, fostering imagination, and celebrating the diversity of our world.
When you are with me, I am very much “present” and authentic. I gave up being perfect long ago. I have my opinions. I don’t pretend to be neutral, but I am not judgmental. I feel no need to convince anyone of anything, and I accept your decisions in life. I will learn from helping you and help from a place of respect and curiosity.
I have seen quite a bit in my life. From my experience, I trust that everybody tries to be the best they can be, so poor decisions and lame actions usually are born from good intentions but limited skills or resources. Good decisions and effective actions can be the result of chance and luck too, rather than good sense or resourcefulness.
That is where I come in, to help you get better means to accomplish what you need, validate your efforts, call you on your “baloney,” and compassionately show you alternatives, whenever I see them. I am warm, passionate and engaged.
My work with you follows a humanistic relationship-centered approach, and it is based on Martin Buber’s philosophy of authentic presence. I am also committed to erradicating sexism, and fostering anti-opression, anti-racism and equity-building. I welcome individuals who identify as 2SLGBTQIIAA+.

I respectfully acknowledge that I live and work on the Ancestral Traditional Territories of the Ojibway, the Anishnabe and, in particular, the Mississaugas of New Credit, also the Haudenosaunee, the Huron-Wendat, the Métis Nation of Ontario, and Six Nations of the Grand River. I acknowledge them as our community partners and traditional inhabitants of the lands of the City of Toronto and surrounding areas. This territory is covered by the Upper Canada Treaties.
I use my gifts as a therapist, consultant, and creativity coach to help you manage positive change, navigate transitions successfully, and develop the flexibility and imagination necessary to sustain a rewarding, inspired, and peaceful life.
In an authentic, courageous and powerful way, I listen and connect with you so you feel heard and validated. I also use my skills as a facilitator and catalyst, to help you stimulate the change you seek and help you remove encumbrances as you go about it.
I find that I have a knack for understanding how fellow humans experience their lives, and use gentle interventions that liberate your heart and unleash your imagination to create a life of freedom and self-fulfillment.
If your goals include living a full and inspired life and blooming into your fullest potential, I can help you deal with the emotional or psychological obstacles and distress. This includes problems with mood, depression, anxiety, trauma, and feeling stuck. I also “coach” individuals that live with ADHD, and a variety of other conditions. I am very interested in life transitions and make-overs.
My training includes working with a range of conditions: stress and adjustment to circumstances, developmental and identity issues, relational concerns, mental health conditions, and addiction. I am constantly learning and engaging in professional development.
I can help you:
Regain a sense of possibility and creativity.
Overcome feelings of stagnation, or being stuck, so you can enjoy a sense of positive flow, meaning, and the love you need.
Get rid of overwhelming emotions like depression and anxiety, so you can focus on what is important to you, and move on with your life.
Become a better version of YOU, unfettered by bad habits or “baggage.”
Free yourself from feelings of isolation and loneliness. Instead, find delight in your connection with the world, your goals, loved ones, and career.
