We all want to be happy. Nobody starts their day thinking they would like to be depressed or miserable that day. The secret is more accessible and simpler than you think!
Using midnfulness, we can unlearn habits of mind that make us unhappy. In my work as a psychotherapist, I meet very capable and gifted individuals who, despite their amazing capacities, are tangled with such patterns of thinking. We can experience our lives with more difficulty than necessary.
Many individuals’ internal wisdom tells them there is more to life than the limited experience they are having, so they seek therapy to find what they intuitively know is available. The good news is that, like conditioning your body, all of us can condition our minds to enjoy its natural state of unencumbered freedom and joy.
I regularly share with my clients the mindfulness training that our mind needs. This training takes a few minutes every day, and the benefits are amazing! You can practice a few minutes daily for huge benefits, or you can slowly incorporate it in an incremental manner, for a slower but sure improvement in your life.
