Choose the Way that Works Best for You!
At Ariel Blau Psychotherapy, we understand that every patient has unique preferences and needs. That's why I offer you the convenience to select between in-person visits at my cozy Little Italy office in Toronto or connect with me securely through encrypted video sessions. You can choose one, or pick every session’s mode depending on how you feel!

FLEXIBLE & CONVENIENT

I understand that your time is valuable, so I want to provide you with a seamless experience engaging my services. With this in mind, I offer three ways to make appointments.

  1. You can opt for self-service and book appointments at your convenience on the schedule.

  2. You can send me an email with preferred times so I can schedule them for you.

  3. At the end of each session I can schedule any appointments for you, should you choose.

If you choose to do it yourself, you will find our appointment booking platform (Jane App) easily accessible. Once there, select the type of appointment you require and choose a convenient date and time that suits your schedule.

Fill in the necessary information, provide any relevant details or questions, and submit your request with just a few simple clicks.

NOT SURE HOW TO CHOOSE?

In-person psychotherapy, with its time-honored traditions and tangible presence, offers a unique depth of connection. The immersive, sensory experience of sharing physical space with a therapist fosters human connection that is irreplaceable.

Sitting face-to-face, clients often find solace in the empathetic gaze of their therapist, fostering a deeply personal, secure environment where healing can unfold.

The sense of presence, the softness of a voice, and the immediate reading of non-verbal cues all contribute to the nuanced therapeutic process.

On the other hand,
online psychotherapy offers convenience and accessibility in an age of digital interconnectedness.

Over video, clients can engage in therapy from the comfort of their own homes, erasing geographical boundaries. This option works for individuals with physical limitations or hectic schedules, making therapeutic support more accessible than ever before.

With the potential reduction of stigma, clients may feel more comfortable discussing delicate personal matters, knowing that the physical distance creates a protective shield.

While online psychotherapy offers undeniable advantages in terms of convenience and accessibility, it is crucial to note that in-person therapeutic sessions continue to harbour their unique significance.

Ultimately, the choice between in-person and online psychotherapy depends on individual needs, preferences, and circumstances.
